The Mystery of Satan's Throne with Jonathan Cahn
In Revelation 2, the Lord speaks of Pergamon as the place where Satan's throne is. So what was there, and where is it now? Rabbi Jonathan Cahn returns to join Paul Wilbur and Shae Wilbur and open up the mystery behind his new book, The Altar of Pergamon: The Mystery of the Dark Angel and the Future of the World.
Jonathan traces the story of the great pagan altar of Pergamon, buried for centuries, unearthed in the 1870s, and carried to Berlin. From there he walks through the connections he sees between this ancient object and some of the darkest chapters of modern history, including the rise of Hitler and the Nazis, the Holocaust, the spread of communism, the Cold War, and the nuclear age. He also shares his perspective on what it could mean for end time prophecy and the days ahead.
But this is not a doomsday message. Jonathan reminds us that while the enemy has always tried to stop God's purposes, God has been restoring Israel and bringing His people home all along. It is a war of kingdoms and thrones, and we are on the winning side. The episode closes with Jonathan speaking the Aaronic blessing over viewers.
