Shane Boston loved cowboying but to support his family he took a job at a concrete plant. He started at the bottom but it was a good secure paycheck.

He was young and hungry with a good work ethic and soon worked his way up through the ranks but after a while he began to notice his paycheck wasn’t as secure as he thought.

Shane saw how replaceable you could be to a company so he decided he needed to build something of his own. Southern Welding was born.

Through lots of struggle, hard work, and mentorship they found success in their niche.

He’s since been able to build his own ranching and horse operation, Southern Ranches. They’ve made a huge splash in the rope horse world.
